Now, I work as a freelancer for the Social Impact team at GitHub. In this role, I'll create, test, and design a new GitHub product that will coolly engage young kids online. With a concentration on computer science education, I received my Doctorate in computer science from UCSD.
I am also developing pedagogies, tools, and strategies for computer science education curricula. For example, the new AP Computer Science Principles course at UCSD features Dr. Beth Simon as a pilot instructor. With this, I have contributed to the UCSD curriculum and helped pilot the approaches at nearby high schools.
