Sarah acquired her undergraduate degree from Duke University, a master's degree in social work from New York University, and clinical social work licenses from California and New York. Sarah completed a postgraduate degree in executive coaching at Fielding University and held a professional certification as a coach (PCC).

Subsequently, Sarah started a conversation series where women from different backgrounds could connect, share, and encourage each other in reaching their professional and personal objectives. She was inspired by the great women she encountered along the way. Sarah recently started another series called Wise Women of LA as a new mother.
