Hello, I'm Sara Chipps and welcome to my online space. I'm a JavaScript developer working in New York City, and participating in the software industry during the web's formative years pleased me. Before becoming CEO of Jewelbots, which makes friendship bracelets for the iPhone era, I served as CTO of Flatiron School.
I worked with Melanie Moore to launch Elizabeth and Clarke in 2011, a subscription business that sends you lovely essentials every season and reduces the burden of shopping. I co-founded Girl Develop It in 2010, a nonprofit organization encouraging more women to work as software engineers. We have educated more than 4000 women in 17 locations about software development.
