After a lengthy and illustrious career at SanDisk Corporation, where he served as the organization's CEO from its founding in 1988 until its final sale in 2016, Sanjay Mehrotra joined Micron in May 2017. In addition to being a co-founder of SanDisk, Mr. Mehrotra led the firm as president and CEO from 2011 to 2016 and oversaw its expansion into a Fortune 500 leader. Mr. Mehrotra graduated from the Stanford Graduate School of Management Executive Program after earning electrical engineering and computer science bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of California Berkeley (SEP). From 2009 until 2018, he was a member of Cavium Inc.'s board of directors. In addition to holding more than 70 patents, Mr. Mehrotra has written publications about flash memory systems and nonvolatile memory design.
