Associate Professor Sanjam Garg teaches at the University of California, Berkeley. At IBM Research, T.J. Watson previously served as a Josef Raviv Memorial Postdoctoral Fellow. His interests are in theoretical computer science and, more generally, in purity and cryptography.
He earned his undergraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 2008 and his doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2013. He has received many awards, including the 2013 ACM Doctoral Dissertation Prize and the 2013 EUROCRYPT Best Paper Award.
