At IDEO, Sandy Speicher is an associate partner overseeing the company's education work. She and her colleagues started a partnership with Carnegie Corporation called 100k in 10 and worked with the organization to develop a replicable and cheap school model for Peru. Speicher has previously instructed fifth-graders in design thinking and visual communications at Washington University. With MetaDesign, she began her career in design. She is a strategic adviser for the Stanford d.school's K-12 Lab and the school's Learning Design and Technology program. In addition, she serves on the Intelligence Collective's board.
