At the moment, Sandy holds the position of CEO of Locqus and is a Partner at Ludlow Ventures, a venture capital firm specializing in investing in digital startup firms. His establishment of Netarx, a provider of network integration and services to big businesses, began his entrepreneurial success. Business intelligence (BI), network and information security, virtualization of storage area networks, unified communications, and data center services were the main areas of concentration for Netarx. 2009 saw the acquisition of Analysts International's VAR business by Netarx (including Sequoia and Entree Systems). Sandy joined Logicalis (a part of Datatec, symbol LSE: DTC), which bought Netarx in 2011, as its Chief Technical Officer. Sandy established Yottabyte and Locqus, continuing his success in entrepreneurship. Sandy gives back to the community by giving talks, writing books, and creating new technology; he has five U.S. patents.
