Sam Huntington Biography

Sam Huntington launched his work in the entertainment business as a stage actor with the famous Peterborough Players in his hometown of New Hampshire, where he appeared in such parts as ‘Jem' in “To Kill a Mockingbird,” opposite James Rebhorn, over the course of four seasons. He went to New York at the age of 13 and earned his first feature film role in Disney's "Jungle 2 Jungle," opposite Tim Allen and Martin Short. Huntington went on to play ‘Jam' in New Line Cinema's “Detroit Rock City,” ‘Ox' in Columbia Pictures' “Not Another Teen Movie,” and ‘Dinkadoo Murphy' in Thomas Hayden Church's “Rolling Kansas,” among other parts. Sam made appearances in the Weinstein Company's "Fanboys," opposite Kristen Bell and Jay Baruche, as "Jimmy Olsen" of the Daily Planet in Bryan Singer's long-awaited take on the Man of Steel, "Superman Returns." Sam has also made several memorable television guest appearances, including "Law and Order," "CSI: Miami," "CSI: New York," and "Veronica Mars." Every Monday night, you can catch Sam on the SyFy channel's new, highly praised smash series "Being Human," in which he portrays werewolf/tortured soul "Josh." Sam, his wife Rachel, and their son Charlie presently reside in Los Angeles.
