Sam Gregory oversees the WITNESS Cameras Everywhere program, which aims to enable millions of people to utilize video ethically, efficiently, and successfully. WITNESS is a significant organization that helps individuals use video for human rights. The Human Rights Channel was recently created on YouTube by Gregory. His ObscuraCam initiative was one of Wired UK's top 25 concepts for 2012.
Gregory was a Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Residence in 2010, researching the potential of activism using video. He has produced creative training programs, worked on globally significant initiatives in South-East Asia and Latin America, and teaches at the Harvard Kennedy School. Gregory is a Kennedy Memorial Scholar with an MS in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
