Professor of Accounting Sajay Samuel, who has won awards for his work, has conducted seminars and delivered numerous lectures around Europe and other parts of the world on various subjects, including science and technology, the political economics of professions, and decision theory. In 1990 and 1995, Samuel earned his MBA from Penn State University and his Ph.D. in business administration.
In 2003, he returned to Penn State, where he teaches Business and Industry Analysis, the capstone subject for all undergraduate business majors. The Lester J. Shonto Faculty Award for Excellence in Accounting Teaching was given to Samuel in 2006. Literary magazines, including Accounting Organizations and Society Administrative Science Quarterly and Symbolic Interaction, have published the results of Dr. Samuel's study.
