Cross-country skier Sadie Bjornsen participated in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. She is a member of the US and Alaska Pacific University Ski teams. She has placed third in the 4 x 5 km relay in Lillehammer in 2013 and 2015, second in the 4 x 5 km relay in Nove Mesto in 2016, and second in the team sprint in Düsseldorf in 2011. She also has one individual world cup medal and four team world cup podiums. At Alaska Pacific University, Bjornsen is working on a master's degree in business after graduating from college with a double major in accounting and nonprofit business management.
