Sachi Koto worked as a news anchor for CNN Headline News for 16 years, often on weekends. Her contract ended in July 2005. CNN opted not to extend her contract when she was 54 years old. WWAAAC (Who's Who in Asian American Communities) was founded by her. Koto is a Japanese American of the third generation.
Before joining CNN, she worked for nine years at different radio and television stations in Atlanta and Tokyo. Sachi Koto Communications, LLC, is her own communications firm.
