Sacha Dhawan Biography

English actor Sacha Dhawan began acting at twelve and received his training at Manchester's Laine-Johnson Theatre School. He portrayed Azmat Madaridi in Weirdsister College (2001–2002) and had recurrent parts in seasons two and three of the children's television program Out of Sight (1997-1998). In addition to guest starring in episodes of EastEnders (2003), Five Days (2010), and Being Human, he made an appearance in the miniseries The Last Train (1999). With Jodie Whittaker and Laurence Fox, he also played Ben Chandrakar in the 2008 ITV drama Wired (2008). On the NBC comedy Outsourced, which aired in the 2010–2011 season, he was a member of the ensemble cast. In addition, Dhawan starred as former director Waris Hussein in the docudrama An Adventure in Space and Time, which debuted in November 2013 as part of the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary festivities.
