Ryan Manion is motivated by her brother, 1st Lt. Travis Manion of the United States Marine Corps, who gave his life on April 29, 2007, in the Iraqi province of Al Anbar while deflecting gunfire from his injured teammates. Ryan has been the president of the Travis Manion Foundation since 2012.
He oversees a nationwide initiative that helps veterans and the families of the deceased move forward in their journeys and motivates the following generation of leaders. Ryan has received countless invitations to speak before large crowds around the country. Travis Ryan continues to live a life of service to others in honor of her brother.
