Stanford University awarded Dr. Russell Jeung a BA in human biology and an MA in education. He served in China and the San Francisco Mayor's Office before earning his Ph.D. in sociology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2000.
He moved to the Asian American Studies Department at San Francisco State University in 2002 after spending two years as an instructor at Foothill College.
