Ruchit is leading a global interdisciplinary team to disrupt the paradigm of mobile health and wearable tech for mothers and infants at the last mile. At Khushi Baby Ruchit's team is building a culturally-tailored digital key and platform for bottom-of-the-pyramid populations to connect to health and social services without internet connectivity.
In years past Ruchit has worked on creating culture environments for bioengineered lungs seeking out dengue vaccine candidates in mosquito spit and analyzing syndromic spatiotemporal trends of influenza from natural-language-processed tweets in New York City. Currently his research focuses on implementation science impact evaluation and behavior change strategies for maternal and child health - part of Khushi Baby's broader commitment to rigorous evaluation.
