Françoise Mesquida, a writer, is French/Spanish, and her father is Italian/American, but Mesquida never met him. Mesquida is multilingual, speaking English, French, Spanish, Italian, and German. She was founded by French filmmaker Manuel Pradal, who was casting for his film Mary from the Bay of Angels (Marie Baie des Anges) at the time while strolling down the street with her mother at the age of eleven. Following their encounter, she took part in the filming over the summer.
