Mr. Romi Bhatia is the Executive Director of the Idea Center at Miami Dade College. The Idea Center is the entrepreneurship and innovation engine of MDC. Mr. Bhatia is passionate about public service and committed to empowering individuals who want to pursue the entrepreneurial pathway. Mr.
Bhatia has an extensive background in international development with a career spanning 17 years and in 25 developing countries across Latin America Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. He brings extensive knowledge and experience in microfinance small enterprise development and impact investing. From 2009-2017 Mr. Bhatia taught microfinance and crowdfunding as an adjunctlecturer at the George Washington University School of Business.
