Roger Stein is the managing director of research and academic relations at Moody's Corporation and a research affiliate at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He has been developing approaches to applied risk modeling for more than 20 years.
As the co-head of Moody's KMV's research and product development Stein led the development of commercial risk-management tools that have been adopted by hundreds of financial institutions globally. Previously Stein led Moody's risk-management services research group. He has authored more than 50 professional and academic articles and books and serves on the editorial boards of several finance-related journals.
