Robert Iler lost 25 pounds on the Atkins diet reducing his weight from 180 pounds to 155 pounds in 2005. On July 4 2001 when Iler was only 16 years old he and three others were arrested on Manhattan's Upper East Side for robbing $40 from two Brazilian tourists.
Iler was charged with second degree robbery as well as marijuana possession which carried up to 15 years in prison. The three oldest were indicted on August 3 and pleaded innocent on August 29. Iler and one of his accomplices agreed to plead guilty to a lesser misdemeanor and Iler was sentenced to three years probation on April 23 2002.
