Robert X. Fogarty is an American photographer, entrepreneur, and social activist. Born and raised in New Orleans, he began his career as a lawyer, but after Hurricane Katrina devastated the city, he turned to photography to document the recovery efforts.

In 2008, Fogarty founded the nonprofit Dear World, which uses photography and storytelling to connect people and promote empathy and understanding. Fogarty's photography has been featured in numerous publications, including Time, Forbes, and The New York Times, and he has spoken at TEDx events and universities worldwide.
