Robert Egger is an American activist, author, and social entrepreneur. He founded the D.C. Central Kitchen, a nonprofit organization that provides culinary training for unemployed and underemployed adults and distributes meals to social service agencies. Egger also founded the Campus Kitchens Project, which established student-run kitchens to recover and distribute food to communities in need.
Egger is a passionate advocate for social justice and has worked to combat poverty, homelessness, and hunger throughout his career. He has consulted with numerous organizations and government agencies, including the White House and the United Nations.
