He chaired the Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management Area and pioneered a research methodology for identifying communication gaps in the capital markets.
Eccles has collaborated with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) on various projects and a research program, which led to the publication of The ValueReporting Revolution, co-authored with PwC partners. Eccles also co-authored Building Public Trust with Samuel A. DiPiazza, Jr., CEO of PwC, to provide a framework for corporate reporting reforms. Eccles holds an A.M. and Ph.D.
