Robert Del Grande is a renowned chef known for his innovative and modern approach to Southwestern cuisine. After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, with a degree in biochemistry, he decided to pursue a career in cooking.
Del Grande trained at the Culinary Institute of America and later worked in several prestigious restaurants, including the Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. In 1981, Del Grande moved to Houston, Texas, and became a partner in Cafe Annie, which he later renamed Cafe Annie and RDG.
