With over 20 years tech experience, Rob Solomon is the CEO at GoFundMe and an active investor in technology start-ups. By helping to build some of the biggest names in tech, Rob wants to make GoFundMe the online destination for personal causes. He was a venture partner at Accel Partners, advising their portfolio companies on strategic and operational issues.
Solomon was also president and COO of Groupon, where he helped scale the company from 100 to more than 5,000 employees with a focus on Groupon's sales, marketing, business development, operations, and international functions. He led the company’s turnaround and merger with Kayak as CEO of Sidestep. And he also ran Yahoo’s commerce business unit.
