Rob Senderoff, the current head men's basketball coach at Kent State University, was born on July 25, 1973. On April 7, 2011, he was hired to replace Geno Ford, who had been Senderoff's deputy head coach for the previous three seasons.
Coach Senderoff, who is known for his recruiting abilities, has already had an influence on the future of Kent State basketball. Before taking over as head coach at Kent State, Senderoff worked with the program for two years. From 2002 until 2006, he worked as an assistant coach for Jim Christian.
