Rob Robbins and Shane Stanger, originally from San Diego, shared a dream of opening a restaurant together. In 2012, they decided to leave their separate careers and return home to pursue their passion. The Baked Bear was born shortly after, opening its doors on May 4th, 2013, in Pacific Beach, CA, where customers lined up down the street.
Their mission is to spread joy by bringing a smile to every customer's face, one ice cream sandwich at a time. The Baked Bear takes pride in their original recipe cookies, baked from scratch in-house and served fresh out of the oven daily.
