Rob Lawless is an American keynote speaker, storyteller, and creator of the "Robs10kFriends" Project. He graduated with highest honors from Penn State University, earning a degree in finance with minors in accounting and entrepreneurship.

After working as a business analyst at Deloitte Consulting and later at the startup RJMetrics, he felt a lack of authentic human connection in his professional life. In November 2015, he launched a mission to spend one hour, one-on-one, with 10,000 different people to learn their stories and foster meaningful connections, documenting his journey on Instagram (@robs10kfriends).
