Rita Zoey Chin is an American author and editor. She was born and raised in New York City and attended Hunter College High School. Chin received her undergraduate degree in English from Harvard University and her MFA in creative writing from the University of Virginia.
She has worked as an editor at various publishing houses, including The New Press and Picador. Chin's essays and articles have been featured in The New York Times, The Guardian, and other publications. Her debut memoir, "Let the Tornado Come: A Memoir," chronicles her experiences with love, loss, and grief following the sudden death of her fiancé.
