Risa Lavizzo-Mourey, M.D., M.B.A., is the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's President and CEO, where she has served since 2001. Before joining the foundation, she worked at the University of Pennsylvania as the Sylvan Eisman Professor of Medicine and Health Care Systems and as the director of the Institute on Aging.
She also served in the government as the Deputy Administrator of the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research. Lavizzo-Mourey has worked on various federal advisory committees, including the President's Advisory Commission on Consumer Protection and Quality in the Health Care Industry.
