Rico Rodriguez is a Mexican-American actor widely recognized for portraying Manny Delgado on the ABC sitcom Modern Family. Born in Bryan, Texas, he grew up with his siblings, including actress Raini Rodriguez. Initially, Rodriguez had no plans to become an actor but changed his mind after his sister began acting in 2006. In addition to Modern Family, he has appeared in films like Epic Movie (2007) and The Muppets (2011). Rodriguez is of Mexican descent, and his parents owned a tire shop called Rodriguez Tire Service. Sadly, his father, Roy Rodriguez, died at 52 in 2017. For his role in Modern Family, he won two Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. He was nominated for the same award in 2010.
