Ricky Reed is a Grammy-nominated music producer, songwriter, and artist. He was born on July 17, 1983, in Berkeley, California. He began his career as a member of the indie pop band Wallpaper. In 2014, he co-wrote and produced Jason Derulo's hit single "Talk Dirty," which reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Reed has since worked with artists including Halsey, Lizzo, Kesha, and twenty-one pilots. He was nominated for a Grammy in 2017 for his production work on the "Coloring Book" album by Chance the Rapper. In addition to his production work, Reed has also released music under his own name, including the 2018 album "The Room."
