Ricky Ashenfelter is the CEO and Co-Founder of Spoiler Alert, a food-tech startup aimed at helping businesses manage their surplus food and organic waste. Spoiler Alert was launched in 2015 and offers an online marketplace and collaboration tool to prevent food waste. The company was a member of the 2016 cohort of Techstars Boston and was the winner of MassChallenge in 2015. Ricky is a graduate of the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he specialized in Sustainability Entrepreneurship & Innovation, particularly within the cleantech and food industries. While at Sloan, he was the Teaching Assistant for the school's premier energy entrepreneurship course, 15.366 Energy Ventures.
