Rick Yancey is an accomplished author who has written 15 novels and a memoir. His books have been translated into over 30 languages and have won numerous awards and recognition worldwide.

One of his young adult novels, "The Extraordinary Adventures of Alfred Kropp," was listed as the Best Book of the Year by Publishers Weekly and was nominated for the Carnegie Medal. In 2010, he was honored with a Michael L. Printz Honor for The Monstrumologist. The sequel, "The Curse of the Wendigo," was a Los Angeles Times Book Prize finalist.
