Rick Vaughn is an accomplished executive Vice President of Business Development at the Enterprise Center of Johnson County. In addition to this role, he is the Managing Director of the Mid-America Angels (MAA), which he co-founded. As Managing Director, Vaughn oversees the daily operations of the angel network, including screening applications, negotiating deals, coordinating investments, and managing post-investment activities.
Under his leadership, MAA has invested over $11.5 million in a diverse portfolio of 29 companies. Vaughn is an active member of various organizations, including the Angel Capital Association, the Association for Corporate Growth, the National Association of Seed & Venture Funds, and the National Business Incubation Association.
