Steiner is most remembered for his work in the National Wrestling Alliance, World Championship Wrestling, and the World Wrestling Federation as a singles wrestler and as part of the tag team The Steiner Brothers with his younger brother, Scott. Before joining the National Wrestling Alliance in 1988, he worked for the American Wrestling Association, Montreal, Canada, and the Universal Wrestling Federation under the stage name Rick Steiner.
