Rick Rieder is a highly experienced investment professional with several leadership positions in the finance industry. He is currently the Global Chief Investment Officer of Fixed Income at BlackRock, a position he has held since joining the company in 2009. In this role, Rieder oversees the fixed-income investment team and serves as Chairman of the BlackRock Investment Council.
He is also a BlackRock's Fixed Income Executive Committee and Leadership Committee member. Before joining BlackRock, Rieder was the President and CEO of R3 Capital Partners. He has also served as Vice Chairman and member of the Borrowing Committee for the US Treasury.
