Rick Cleveland is a multi-talented writer, playwright, and journalist. He received Emmy and Writer's Guild Awards for writing on The West Wing. His play Jerry and Tom was adapted into a screenplay and selected for the Sundance and Toronto Film Festivals.
Cleveland has also received playwriting grants and fellowships from the Kennedy Center's Fund for New American Plays, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Rockefeller Foundation. He is a commentator for NPR's All Things Considered. He is currently developing television series for NBC/Universal Studios while also working on a new monologue play, The Nauseated Traveler.
