Richard Yim is a Cambodian entrepreneur and inventor who founded Demine Robotics, a social enterprise that aims to clear landmines using advanced technology. Growing up in Cambodia, Yim witnessed the devastation caused by landmines and became determined to find a solution to the problem.
After studying robotics and engineering at the University of Manchester in the UK, Yim returned to Cambodia and founded Demine Robotics in 2017. The company's flagship product is a robotic system that can detect and remove landmines safely and efficiently, reducing the risk of injury or death to human deminers.
