Richard Wrangham is a British biological anthropologist and primatologist. He is currently the Ruth B. Moore Professor of Biological Anthropology at Harvard University, where he has been teaching since 1989. Wrangham is best known for his research on primates, including chimpanzees, bonobos, and humans. He has conducted extensive fieldwork in Uganda, where he studied the behavior of wild chimpanzees.
Wrangham's research has focused on the evolution of human aggression, the development of human social systems, and the impact of cooking on human evolution.
