Richard Whitehead is a British athlete and motivational speaker. He was born in Nottingham, England, in 1976 with a congenital condition that resulted in the absence of both his legs from the knee down. Despite this, he has become a highly successful athlete, winning multiple gold medals in the Paralympic and World Championship Games.
