Richard Tait is a Scottish entrepreneur and co-founder of the board game company, Cranium. Tait was born and raised in Scotland. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Aberdeen, he moved to the United States to pursue his MBA at the University of Washington.
In 1998, Tait and his friend Whit Alexander founded Cranium, a popular board game known for its mix of creative challenges and trivia questions. The company was sold to Hasbro in 2008 for $77.5 million. Tait has also been involved in other entrepreneurial ventures, including co-founding the wine company O Wines, and the online marketing platform, Golazo.
