Richard T. Jones is an American actor known for his versatile roles in film and television. Jones grew up in California and graduated from Tuskegee University with a degree in electrical engineering. However, he soon discovered his passion for acting and began earnestly pursuing it.

Jones made his acting debut in the early 1990s with a small role in the film "In the Hood." He went on to appear in numerous movies and TV shows, including "The Wood," "Event Horizon," "Judging Amy," and "Narcos: Mexico." He is perhaps best known for his role as Bruce Van Exel in the hit TV series "Judging Amy" and as James Ellison in "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles." Jones has also appeared in several stage productions, including "The Talented Tenth" and "Seven Guitars." He has been nominated for several awards throughout his career, including an NAACP Image Award for his role in "Judging Amy." Jones is a devout Christian who has spoken publicly about his faith outside of acting.
