Richard Schlesinger is a CBS criminal documentary show correspondent and a television news reporter in the United States. After graduating in 1976, Schlesinger worked as a political reporter for WPLG-TV in Miami, where he earned the Sigma Delta Chi Award.
He joined the Post-Newsweek Television Stations as Washington bureau chief in 1980 and stayed there until 1984 when he joined CBS News. Shlesinger was headquartered in Miami for CBS and covered topics in the Southeast United States as well as South America.
