Richard Parker is an American economist, journalist, and author. He graduated from Yale University and later earned a Master's degree in political science from MIT. Parker worked as an economic analyst and journalist, contributing to publications such as The New York Times and The Nation.
He has authored several economic theory and policy books, including "The Myth of the Middle Class" and "John Kenneth Galbraith: His Life, His Politics, His Economics." Parker has also taught at Harvard University, where he is a Lecturer in Public Policy. He is known for his progressive views on economics and has been a vocal critic of free-market fundamentalism.
