Richard Farr is an American author of speculative fiction. He was born and raised in Washington State and received his degree in English from the University of Washington. After working as a journalist and copywriter, he turned to fiction writing.
He has since published several books, including the middle-grade novel, "The Fire Seekers," and the young adult novel, "The Time-Traveler's Guide to Elizabethan England." He is also known for his science fiction and fantasy novels, such as "The Ember Blade" and "The Dark Water Trilogy." In addition to his writing, Farr has served as a judge for the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award and has taught creative writing at the University of Washington.
