Richard Blais, best known as the winner of Bravo's "Top Chef All-Stars," has been a significant figure in the hospitality industry for the past 15 years. Starting as a "poissonier" at McDonald's, Blais later attended the Culinary Institute of America, where he studied under renowned chef Thomas Keller at the French Laundry in Yountville, CA.
He went on to work at Restaurant Daniel in New York and stage briefly at El Bulli in Roses, Spain. Blais then moved to Atlanta, where he founded Trail Blais. This culinary company has consulted on and designed popular eateries such as Flip Burger Boutique.
