Rhoda Janzen is a bestselling author and English professor best known for her memoirs. Born and raised in a Mennonite community in California, Janzen has written extensively about her experiences growing up in a conservative religious household.
Janzen earned her bachelor's degree in English from Hope College in Michigan before pursuing her master's and doctoral degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles. She has since taught English and creative writing at several universities, including Hope College, California State University, and the University of Central Florida.
