Reynold Levy is an American lawyer, philanthropist, and academic. He is known for his work as a cultural and educational leader, having served as the president of several prominent institutions. Levy began his career as a lawyer, practicing at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom firm before transitioning to the nonprofit sector.
He served as the executive director of the 92nd Street Y in New York City from 1984 to 2002, where he oversaw the organization's transformation into a world-renowned cultural and community center. In 2002, Levy was appointed president of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, one of the world's largest and most prestigious cultural institutions.
