Before joining academia, Abrami was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and worked in the US Senate. She holds a BA from Harvard University, an MA from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
